Bulent OKTAY

Bülent OKTAY was born in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara Deneme High School in 1985 and the Computer Engineering Department of Yildiz University in 1990. He worked for Pamukbank and NETAS as a computer engineer till his military obligation in the Ministry of Defence, between 1994 and 1995. He has been working as a DBA (Database Administrator) since 1995 .

The artist whose first cartoon was published in 1983 won his first prize in 1987. His cartoons have been published in many magazines and newspapers since 1983. He has participated many exhibitions and competitions in Turkey and abroad. He has won numerous prizes in different competitions. The artist is also a calligrapher, as well as doing illustrations for books. His cartoons have been exhibited and published in many countries such as USA, Japan, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal and Brazil.
